Done
We take it from there. Your clearout is done, and you're paid up front for the pieces we can resell.
What actually happens to your bags.
Once your bags arrive with us, each piece is opened, inspected, and placed in one of four outcomes. Sorting is done by hand. A fifteen-year-old coat in great condition is worth more than a three-month-old fast-fashion piece, and only a person catches that.
Most clearouts end up with a mix. You clear your wardrobe in one go; we find the right home for each piece.
The outcomes
Resale. Pieces that meet our resale criteria (good condition, a brand and style that hold demand, likely to sell within 90 days) are photographed, listed, and sold through our usual channels. The resale range your piece sits in reflects our estimate of value, not what each piece eventually sells for. You're paid up front rather than waiting on individual sales.
Recirculated. Wearable pieces that fall outside the resale ranges go to trusted commercial partners: bulk buyers, market traders, resale operators. They do not earn you a payout, but they stay in circulation.
Donated. Wearable pieces that don't fit resale or recirculation are routed to our charity partners. They don't earn you a payout, but they reach people who need them.
Responsibly handled. A small number of pieces are genuinely beyond use: heavily damaged, counterfeit, or unsafe. These are responsibly disposed of. We keep this category as small as we can.
How we value things
Every piece is reviewed against two main checks: estimated resale value above £8, and likelihood of selling within 90 days of listing. The price we put on a piece reflects that 90-day window, which is why up-front payment works.
What drives those checks is style and demand more than age. Modern pieces tend to fit because the styles people are buying right now are still in shops. Older pieces qualify too, especially luxury, vintage, and occasion pieces, where the brand and condition hold their value regardless of date.
Pieces that clear both checks get priced against one of three resale ranges: £20+, £15–20, or £8–14. That feeds into the total we pay you.
What your payout looks like
You receive one total for the full clearout. We do the valuing internally; the figure that lands in your account covers everything sellable you sent us.
If you nominated a charity at checkout, your total is routed there instead. You can send the whole payout, or only the totals that come in under a threshold you set.
How long it takes
From the moment your bags arrive, items are sorted within five working days. Your payout follows within another five. Ten to fourteen days end-to-end for most clearouts. Occasionally a large one takes longer, in which case we email you.
Three resale ranges.
Here's how we price each piece.
Designer, premium, or strong everyday brands in excellent condition.
Recent, in-demand styles in excellent condition.
Pieces we'll bundle or redistribute. A flat £1 per piece goes to you.
Questions, answered.
How do I get my bags?
Order on the site and we post them free. Standard is 3–5 working days, Express is next working day for £5.
What do I put in them?
Clothing, handbags, belts, and scarves. Men's and women's, everyday or occasion. Send pieces clean and in good condition wherever possible. We don't take shoes, kidswear, or pieces with significant damage.
How do I send them back?
Once your bags are packed, use our returns portal to book a free collection or drop-off. No printing, no fuss.
How much will I get paid?
You receive one total for the whole clearout, paid up front. Behind the number we price by three resale ranges: £20+ pays 33% to you, £15–20 pays 20%, £8–14 pays £1 flat per piece.
When will I be paid?
Items are sorted within 5 working days of arrival, then paid out within another 5. Around 10–14 days end-to-end.
What happens to things you can't sell?
Items that don't meet resale criteria are redistributed to charity partners or recirculated. Nothing goes to landfill. They don't add to your payout, but they don't reduce it either.
